Cryptic Coffee Date - Dragon Enamel Pins

Hey guys. Thank you so much... 💙

Everyone has been so patient and supportive and understanding, and it brings me to tears. Things are pretty bad at home with our housing situation, so thank you guys for letting me be honest and transparent. but! good news, we were able to scrap up the funds to really make a huge dent into  shipping the packages out! We caught up to getting 171 orders out with this money, and grinded it out last week among Etsy prep and inventory and so much etc. ect. 😭🙏💙 So we raised $740ish, and I just forgot to snap a picture. my beautiful girlfriend Sabrina helped me fulfill them, she carried so much I'm so thankful to her. We were able to get all domestic to the USA shipped aside from a small handful of issue orders that need a little extra TLC. Those will be shipped out this week. 

But wow. this is such a big deal 😭 you guys don't even know! This project being stuck at a wall is literally killing us. <XD 

So now! it's totally drained again, we only got 0.30 cents now in the backerkit postage, and this is the farthest we could get with that money before getting walled out again. Which was pretty much equated to getting all domestic orders out, and a small handful of international. I have about 11 domestic orders that once I fix them up, their postage is already bought so, I'll be able to drop them off at the post office without additional money. So it's more accurately that I have about 30 international orders to get out. International shipping is quite expensive, so they'll have to wait a little longer, 😭 but you WILL Get your pins! But for now, this is as far we could get. Thank you all my international lovelies. 💙

If you are one of the 11 US orders that can't be shipped yet, it's because there was an inventory mix up totally on my end.  I don't understand lol We literally put aside all the tea dragons for add ons and extra of all of them, except for apparently one design on accident. <:/  So I'll be DMing or emailing yall with solutions within the next few days, and we'll get those shipped out and shrink that number more! sorry 😮‍💨

Once I help those orders, whatever left of this is completely open inventory, and it'll be up on our Etsy later this week! We got Chamomile, Matcha, Thai Tea, Masala Chai, Rooibus, and I think like one or two of a few others if they aren't taken by the trouble orders. if I don't email/DM you, don't worry this won't apply to you. 💙

There is a few things! 

As for reward shipment

Of course there's always that period of time after a kickstarter where I have to look out for emails and DMs where for orders that never show up, or the post office will mark it as shipped but it's not and it's completely out of our hands, etc. :P So for all the US rewards that have been shipped, you should be able to expect your package within the next three weeks. At the latest, If you don't get your package by May it definitely got lost in the mail, and there's no way for me to know, so please if May comes and it never shows up, or there's ANY issue, damaged pin etc, contact me at my email [email protected], and we will ship out another pin! 💙 If we accidentally gave you the wrong pin, or a missing a pin, same thing, reach out to me at my email 💙 I'll resolve whatever human error, weather by us or the post office lol. I know I've really struggled to open DMs and stuff, but NO MORE! I am here and present, and things are moving and they Need to. I'll be better for yall! thank you guys for your patients and giving me so much strength. 💙🙏 

I'll make another update for our beloved international backers, when we are able to ship out your guys's rewards. We are so sorry, thank you guys. 

I need to move onto the next project. 

I've made a few mentions in previous updates that, this is my livelihood among other avenues of income, and with the state of the economy effecting our humble art business, I cannot wait. We are truthfully in such a corner financially right now, and the only way I can somehow keep things alive, is through these platforms and working to make me pins. 😭 I feel really guilty moving on to a second project from the first before these 30 international orders go out, but I Have to. I'm sorry if it upsets anyone, I understand it's unfair.  😔 This project has set us back and walled us out already so bad,  and with getting about 80% of orders fulfilled, I should be able to launch the next project, and get these international orders out  during the project. So that'll be up as soon as kickstarter will pretty much approve me.  

It's going to be garden themed✨ And it will be here on Kickstarter. 

Coffee Dragons are on the Etsy Shop! And soon what's left of the Tea Dragons. 

In addition to that, that means I really need to get the coffee dragons on our Etsy shop.   Even just a few orders from a few people, could send half of the remaining international orders. Once again, I'm so sorry this turned into our situation and it's effecting you guys. I'm going to make another update soon about it. Regardless, -I have put aside inventory for the Coffee Dragons for both the add-ons for the Dessert Bakery Backerkit Campaign I did, as well as the pins for the remaining 30 international orders for this kickstarter. 

This is how I count inventory cuz my ADHD will sweep away any large number in a second if I lose slight focus haha! So I break  them up into fives XD silly silly. but works! but yeah, once we got to our wall shipping coffee dragon rewards, I put these aside, and then counted hundreds of pins to make sure everything goes smoothly for everything for all Etsy, the Dessert Dragons, and this one. <XD  feels good to actually make progress.

I literally began this project a year ago... it's great to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you everyone! we are almost there!

Ok so, we were able to kinda make up where we were negative, and as I said per my last update, me and my lovely girlfriend has been grinding doordash because our situation is so bad, and I was able to put in about $200 into the Backerkit for this project, to start getting more labels to ship things out. There were also a handful of rewards who's cards still hadn't been charged yet, so I just wanted to give a heads up that I went ahead and charged them! and sent a final warning to those who needed it! That also gave me some money, that I'm going to just dump it all into it's own project, to buy labels, as they are supposed to be anyways! XD So that should give me about like, $400 more WOW! I didn't realize! 8U So that's a huge help! I'll have an update later this week, with some packages being sent! 

I'm also going to go through all the DM's I haven't been able to face, and update every single address, and issues that yall have sent me to fix. I am so sorry I haven't had the mental capacity to open my DMs, but I do now! I'm trying to go as fast as I can, I'm sorry I'm so insufficient right now, but steps are happening! Your guy's comments have been such a blessing, I'm sorry I haven't gotten to them all, but seriously, reading them brought me to tears. Thank you all so much. You all give me so much strength. 

I know some of you suggested I combine shipping for the two projects, but I'm gonna try to get these out hopefully before the new pins come in in a few months! That's so sweet, seriously, but it's all good. I think keeping them seperate helps the organization anyways. but I love your suggestion, it is so thoughtful and considerate, and wow I just cannot believe how amazing you guys are to me. 😭💙 I feel so undeserving. 

When this project is finally wrapped up, it's going to be so freeing in so many ways.  I can't wait to be able to work on other projects, and thanks to everyone that came over to my Dessert Bakery campaign on Backerkit. That project hasn't had nearly any delays at all aside from the holidays and just me being a slug, lol but it's going really smoothly and it has just been so much nicer. I'm gonna make this next project smooth just as well.

Hi there guys... Last update I got a small portion of order out, and I hit a wall financially. So I mentioned that I had a convention coming up that I was hoping would be able to assist me in covering what labels I needed to buy to ship the rest out, and I am ashamed to admit that the convention... didn't go very well.  I was infact, not able to use the convention earnings to  finish up the orders, and I haven't been able to get the money since. I am so sorry, I didn't want to make another update until I had evidence that more progress has been made, but it's been about a month and I can't leave you guys in the dark any longer. 

Things have been so bad, so I'm resorting to doordashing to try and compensate extra money to finally get this kickstarter finished. We are about to hit a year mark... Being stuck on this project has stunted so much progress, and by no means is it the fault of the manufacturers or anyone, it is that my financial situation crashed May 2025, and I still haven't been able to recover. I deeply apologize to everyone. I cannot believe the amount of you that still believe in me, I cannot express how much it means to me. I'm so sorry. I'll try to make up the funds in the next few weeks, and get those orders out. You all deserve so much more than what I can give you and more than anything you guys ever backed on this project. I cannot wait for this to be over for everyone, and yall get your pins. Thank you all so much. 💙

Shipment has begun!

Hi guys. Firstly, want to apologize, I overestimated my ability to work around the holidays and two conventions, starting Jan 1st and some personal mental health struggles, and things have been overwhelmingly difficult to do even the smallest tasks, and that is purely no one's fault other than my own. I am sorry. This last year has really done numbers on me, to the point I've sought professional help and now have it. 😅 I uh... am pretty ashamed, but, my whole life has kinda been sinking since last May, and I am doing my best to keep things afloat as much as I can, even if it's at a pretty sad pace. It's been quite difficult. 😞 I want to take responsibility for my lack of pace and sparse updates to communicate with you guys. I am so sorry. 

There isn't a ton to say, other than packages have been started, and some have been shipped! About a quarter's worth. However, quite the majority have not yet. Money has been thin, and I ran out before I could buy any more labels... BUT! I have a convention I am literally leaving for tomorrow, that will refund the money I didn't have to make the shipment. then I should finish the shipping within the week or so after once I get back this upcoming monday.  Then I'll have the update I really wanted to give you guys, that everything's been shipped and what to look out from there. 

As this is a crowd funding project, I am consious of the fact I'm dealing with people's money, and I really never want to make anyone feel like I'd take advantage of that. I am so sorry. I promise your pins are on the way. 

I will work to do better in the future for this and all my projects. Thank you all for being so patient, I am sorry to leave yall in the dark long enough, it is totally unfair to you guys.  🙏

AT LONG LAST! The Enamel pins are finally here! 😭

When I opened the door to see the boxes of my pins, Im not kidding, I teared up. OH MAN I'm so ready to get this project wrapped up and moved on. To get everyone their pins! You all deserve it so much!!! 😭🙏 This Kickstarter has been such a draining ride of all my projects, seriously I thank you all so much for being so understanding and patient as we have run into delay after delay, or error after error. But soon no longer! 

And speaking of errors 😮‍💨😞 The manufacturer did not put the screen printing on Mexican Mocha 😭 All the colors and plating is perfect, but they just forgot all the little red sparky bits that were supposed to give the pin more flavor. It's a disappointment that sadly I can't do anything about U_U I know people understand that products can have errors that make it through to the end, or change over a project, but I'm sorry if this is a huge bummer to anyone. I haven't had a pin turn out a bit off since my Sky Dragon Kickstarter ages ago. The only time I can update the design is with a restock which might not happen, so this may be the final design of the pin. Happy to be transparent. 

But beyond that! Here's a bunch of the Pins! OH MAN aren't they pretty!? the lighting in my house sucks right now, so everything looks a bit yellow, but I'll have more professional photos soon when I do a big photoshoot for them. For now I just really wanted to show you guys these! I didn't want to make anyone wait a day longer. 😭😅

NOW SHIPPING BEGINS! 

Now that things can finally begin to MOVE you guys will start to get way more frequent updates from me haha.  This next few weeks I'm going to be beginning to package the orders, and in batches I'll ship things out. You guys should get email updates from Backerkit when your shipping label is printed with a tracking number, you should expect that at the latest by January. Not only are the holidays here, but the holiday shipping will be rather congested in general, totally unrelated to this project, so the post office is going wild now, that too could make your shipment a bit delayed by like a week or two if you're in the USA. So I'd expect to start seeing packages in January! and if you are outside the USA probably like, March? haha wow... it'll be a whole year since the project launched. 😭 Some countries may have their own particular problems with the volitile state of the trade war that's going on. So, I will be really getting my hands into any of those issues, (that's my issue don't worry) at most I might just need to reach out to some of you guys via ur email/DM if I run into any issues shipping your reward. 

If you need to update your shipping address, let me know here on KS or my email! Now would be the time to do any last minute adjustments with me! :D I can unlock your survey/address for you guys to update it manually, or I can update it for you. There will be about a one or two week period before anything really hits the post office, while I package batches of orders, so you have time if needed.  let me know if you need anything updated! I can fix that for any of you. 

When packages start hitting the post office with labels and tracking sent out to you guys, I'll make another update with a big FAQ on what to expect from there! :D

What's next? 

Hahaha next is kinda, now? haha <XD This Coffee Dragon kickstarter has been taking so long, the next is actually about to end! This project has been live for a few weeks, and is actually has only two days left!  I wanted to tell you guys here because I know a lot of you expressed interest in seeing my other project!  I just added a new pin to the project, and it's Mint Chocolate Chip! and everything so far in this project seems to be going as smooth as butter. <3 also liking the Backerkit platform! I will be continuing to do projects on there, in addition to Kickstarter. (though the projects per site will be completely unique!)  I'll keep each platformed informed of each other tho so yall don't miss any art I make 😘 thank you all so much for enjoying my little art dragon pins! 💙

The timing so so convenient as well as overwhelming on how much there is to do, but it's a good problem to have, haha! Because now that the Coffee Dragons are here, I can fulfill them all to finish this project, and then have the inventory left over as Add-Ons for the Dessert dragon Backerkit project. (everyone here will get there pins first by months and months lol don't worry.🙏💙)
